Job Summary The overall objective and purpose of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to assist the Executive Housekeeper and/or Housekeeping Manager in the daily operations of the Housekeeping department and ensure both quality of product and productivity of labor in this area. The incumbent is responsible for inspiring, coaching, and training staff to exceed our guests’ expectations, providing inspiring and strategic leadership while directing the activities of the Housekeeping Department in support of the mission, core values, standards, and goals established by the company.

Core Responsibilities Oversees and manages the performance of housekeepers to ensure efficient and profitable operations.

Periodically inventories supplies and equipment.

Directs workflow by assigning tasks related to sorting, washing, folding, and ironing according to company guidelines.

Prepare and analyze reports on labor cost and production of operation.

Participate in the daily line-up and regular training/departmental meetings.

Maintain supplies and report to Executive Housekeeping Manager items to be ordered for efficient operations on a daily basis.

Adhere to safety guidelines and assist with corrective actions to continuously improve service results.

Assist with interviews, schedules, training, coaching, and counseling, resolving problems, providing open communication, and recommending discipline when appropriate.

Cultivates engagement — Builds loyalty to the company and can host/facilitate effective meetings, motivate teams to produce results with tight timeframes while managing multiple projects.

Generates alignment — Ensures proper time and effort is spent to build high-level performance and consistency throughout the collection.

Ability to balance a variety of tasks while maintaining high quality standards.

Ability to read and recognize various tools and chemicals used throughout the cleaning process.

Supervisory Responsibilities Supervisory and leadership responsibilities include guiding Grand Performers within the culture and policies established by the Kessler Collection.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Degree – required

1+ years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title – required

Experience within luxury brand/markets – required

Must be comfortable working in a shared space with constant noise, without a private office.

Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands, including potential overtime.
