• 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Practice Details

• 100% inpatient hospital-based practice
• Average 1-6 patients per day
• Onsite laboratory and ultrasound
• Labor & Delivery support
• Midwives manage and deliver their own patients
• Nursery Level II
• Approximately 700-800 deliveries annually
• Approximately 140-190 Labor & Delivery triage visits per month
• Low C-section volume

Clinical Responsibilities
Routine vaginal deliveries
Operative vaginal deliveries (including low forceps)
Clinical decision-making for Cesarean sections
Complicated deliveries, including:
Cesarean sections
Breech deliveries
Multiple gestations
Placental abruptions

VBAC management
Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
