Joint Pain Solution Center is a growing physician-owned practice specializing in non-surgical arthritis and musculoskeletal care. We help patients avoid unnecessary surgery through advanced ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine, and personalized treatment plans.

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their clinical skills while working alongside a board-certified physician committed to exceptional patient care.

What You’ll Do

Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories and vital signs

Prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures

Assist with ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections

Set up and maintain sterile procedure trays and equipment

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection

Prepare PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) processing equipment (training provided)

Administer injections and medications as permitted by Florida law

Clean, sterilize, and stock examination and procedure rooms

Accurately document patient information within the EMR (Athena)

Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care

Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure instructions

Answer phones and assist with general front office duties when needed

Maintain a professional, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records

Positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills

Preferred

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)

Orthopedic, sports medicine, pain management, or urgent care experience

Phlebotomy experience

Experience assisting with procedures

Athenahealth EMR experience

Compensation

Starting pay: Up to $22 per hour for experienced Medical Assistants, based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Part-time and Full-time

Monday-Friday with some Saturdays to work

Day shift

No nights
