The Quality Engineer II will ensure adherence to stringent quality standards for our products and production processes. This role involves leading quality initiatives, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions based on statistical analysis and industry best practices.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.Responsibilities:Lead and drive quality improvement initiatives across the production lifecycle.Plan, conduct, and lead internal and external quality audits.Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.Design and refine processes and mechanisms to enhance product quality and efficiency.Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff on quality standards and processes.Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.2+ years experience as a Quality Engineer or in a related field.Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality management systems (QMS).Strong leadership and project management skills.Security Clearance is required.Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and database experience.Statistical analysis experience.Requirement to be on feet for a significant portion of the work shift.Majority of work hours spent on a computer.Hand/finger dexterity for using testing and inspection tools.Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.Occasional travel may be required for audits and supplier visits.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.Security Clearance.
