Material Handler (2nd Shift) - Hourly

Controlled Substance Material Handler
Under direct supervision and working within a cage or secured area, a Controlled Substance Material Handler in warehouse operations is responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the processing of returned/recalled items on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer. The Controlled Substance Material Handler position requires high attention to detail and ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.
Lift and move boxes to and/or from the scanning lines
Prepare paperwork for scanning by smoothing folds and removing staples; enter additional information to the system as prompted
prepare a placard with RA and tote barcode for scanning process
When scanning process is complete, add totes to a pallet, label the pallet for storage; move pallets to storage as directed
Stock empty totes at scanning lines and remove trash from scanning area as directed
If forklift certified, operate forklift for movement of order/products on the processing floor, if assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
High School (or its equivalent) or minimum of two year's work experience in a warehouse or production job; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position required
Able to follow standard operation and safety procedures
Able to push a cart or hand truck up to 100 yards; Able to assist with other operations within the warehouse, as needed
Able to handle hazardous waste materials with appropriate safety measures

This is a non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws.
In addition to base hourly pay, eligible employees in this role may receive:

Shift differentials, where applicable(e.g. for evening or late shifts)
