Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity progressive/intermediate care unit specializing in cardiac care. The RN will work closely with a dynamic team to provide exceptional patient care during night shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients, including post-cath and post-operative care.
Monitor patients closely to assess their condition and respond to changes effectively.
Administer medications and manage IV drips as required.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient information accurately using Meditech EMR.
Perform various procedures, including chest tube management and EKGs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of current acute care PCU hospital experience.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience in chest tube management, EKG interpretation, and drip management preferred.
