Locums - Nurse Anesthetist

Anesthesiology - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Du Bois, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Job Title: CRNA Location: Du Bois, Pennsylvania Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $185 - $200/hr

Responsibilities for a CRNA:

Work 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) on a 36 month assignment with possible extension; vacation coverage shifts are 8 hours (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) Float between three facilities as assigned Provide anesthesia services under anesthesiologist medical direction at no more than a 4:1 ratio Work in a variety of practice settings including ORs, hospital GI suites, a CRNA-led endoscopy center, bronchoscopy lab, and cath lab Perform anesthesia for general, ENT (including pediatric), GYN, OB (optional), plastics, endoscopy, urology, orthopedic, vascular, cardiothoracic, and neurological procedures Apply preferred experience in vascular, neuro, and thoracic cases Manage adult and pediatric patient populations; pediatric experience preferred but not required Perform regional blocks and epidurals if desired Manage individual CRNA case volumes, which may include 1015 GI cases, 68 cystoscopies, or 34 general cases per day Utilize Cerner EMR/charting system for accurate documentation Maintain current NBCRNA board certification and Pennsylvania state licensure Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications Submit CV in month/year format covering full education and work history Explain any gaps in employment of 30 days or more on the CV or in the presentation Disclose any background issues, including malpractice settlements, with first- and third-party documentation Complete all required credentialing documents within the established timeframe Participate in orientation scheduled for the first day of the assignment
