WAREHOUSE INVENTORY PERSON

Are you an experienced warehouse leader who is proficient on how to keep operations organized, safe, and effective? We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Coordinator to support our fuel and lubricant distribution facility in Lake Charles, LA. In this role, you will coordinate customer orders, support warehouse associates and drivers, maintain inventory accuracy, and help promote a safe, productive work environment. Coordinate product packaging to ensure customer orders are accurate and complete.
Support product quality assurance processes and help maintain high service standards.
Ensure proper and routine maintenance of facility equipment.
Lead inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and within a safe environment.
Supervise warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of the equipment.
Train, and evaluate the performance of warehouse employees, coordinating with the Operations Manager and Human Resources Department.
Follow and help enforce federal, state, and local regulations, including FMCSA requirements and company policies.
At least 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
Familiarity with HAZMAT, FMCSA, DOTD, and other applicable local and state regulations.
Acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

The role may also require operating a forklift or similar warehouse equipment.
