Health Caseworker

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Bastrop is Currently Seeking an Experienced and Motivated Therapist/Social Worker to Join our Team! Freedom Behavioral is looking for a vital part of our Forensic Inpatient Facility! The Freedom Team puts patient care first by driving processes to ensure quality and compliance. Previous experience caring for adult/geriatric patients is a plus. Participate as an integral professional member of a multi-disciplinary team, implementing and assisting in the supervision of social service interventions to patients.

Must understand facility policies to ensure that policies are adhered to.

The social worker will conduct therapy groups according to the daily program schedule.

Group content will be selected according to the current population to promote the most effective therapeutic services.

cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral.

Additional duties include performing crisis intervention, special case conferences, and communication to outside agencies to ensure that the patient rights, care, and needs are met.

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health discipline from an accredited program required.

PLPC, LPC, CSW, LMSW, or LCSW.

Inpatient behavioral health, psychiatric, or correctional/forensic settings. (Facilitating individual, group therapy. (Group therapy facilitation.
