Delano Service Agent - PBXWe are looking for a Delano Service Agent - PBX to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand's flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.Job DescriptionJOB OVERVIEWUnder the general guidance of the Bar Manager, the Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering an elevated beverage experience by providing attentive, polished, and engaging service to guests in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, spirits, wine, and beerAccurately take beverage orders and enter them into the POS systemDeliver cocktails and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper presentation and quality.Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and proactively address needs or concernsMaintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas, including tables and stationsAdhere to all alcohol service laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Collaborate closely with bartenders and support staff to ensure seamless service flowProcess payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.Upsell premium beverages and specialty cocktails when appropriateMaintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.We will on occasion call for each individual on the team to perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the venue teams.QualificationsSPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSPrevious cocktail serving or high volume food and beverage experience preferredStrong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detailMaintain positive and productive working relationships with other team members and departmentsAbility to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamworkMust be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shiftMust be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessaryMust have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumesAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
