Hook Truck Driver

As a Hook Truck Driver on the DTG Team, you will be part of a community of valued employees who work together and create an environment that is welcoming, caring and trusting. Must be able to operate trucks in residential, commercial, recycling yards and on construction sites as well as public roadways to include highways and interstates.

Perform pre-trips and post-trips inspections.

Take appropriate safety precautions while driving.

Ten hours operating a truck each day is average. Cleaning potential road hazards such as, debris, rocks, mud, dirt, sand, gravel, plastic, roofing etc. off of can sides, rails, and doors as well as truck bumpers, truck fenders, truck wheels and truck frame rails, will need to do as needed prior to leaving job site or yard.

Climb the attached metal fabricated ladder on the front right of the can to inspect the interior of the can for non-approved materials, persons or animals inside the can.

CDL Class A or B

Current Medical Card

Clean driving record and background.

Must be able to work overtime, including some Saturdays.
