As a Server at Croix Rooftop at Cambria Hotel DC Navy Yard Riverfront, you are more than the order takeryou are the host, the guide, and the architect of each guest's experience. You bring sophistication, precision, and warmth to every interaction, ensuring each table reflects the lounge's elevated standards.
We are seeking servers with solid knowledge of classic and craft cocktails who thrive in a fast-paced rooftop setting. The role requires quick adaptability, efficiency during peak service, and consistent quality.
What You'll Do:
Deliver refined, attentive service while anticipating guests' needs.
Guide guests through our curated menu with expertise and confidence.
Recommend and upsell thoughtfully, showcasing food and beverage knowledge.
Execute proper service timing and professional standards with consistency.
Maintain immaculate table presentation and clean, organized stations.
Process orders and payments with accuracy.
Collaborate with bartenders, runners, and bussers to ensure seamless flow.
What You Bring:

• 3+ years of server experience in upscale or high-volume hospitality settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of formal service standards; wine and spirits knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Poised, polished, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carry trays, and lift to 25 pounds.

Additional Responsibilities
The hotel operates 24/7, requiring department schedules to adapt to varying business demands. Employees may need to work shifts outside their preferred or usual hours.
