Receptionist Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified receptionist to welcome and greet guest with a smile while handling a variety of tasks, such as faxing, taking and routing phone calls, check-in or check-out guest. Make, Change or Cancel reservations.

A good job candidate must be professional and friendly, especially when dealing with clients. Excellent service is a must for great customer experiences.

Responsibilities of a Receptionist:

Welcoming and greeting guests

Performing safety checks

Directing guests around the area if asked (Must know the general area around the hotel)

Answering and forwarding phone calls

Making, Changing and or Canceling Reservations

Copying, faxing and performing other administrative tasks

Laundry

Keeping the Lobby and area clean and well-organized

Providing delightful customer service

Dealing and Handling customer service with a smile

Receptionist Job Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Great telephone communication skills

Great organizational skills

Good computer skills, including competency in Microsoft Office programs

Good time-management skills

Customer-centric approach

Professional and friendly disposition

Ability to work in a team

Willingness to assist colleagues with administrative tasks

Experience as a front desk agent is a plus
