Quick Facts Location: Fort Carson, CO Start Date: 08/17/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Shift: Monday–Friday, 0730–1630 (flexibility for nights/weekends) Hours/Week: Up to 40 hours Employment Type: Temporary License/Certifications: Active, unrestricted medical license; ECFMG certification if applicable Experience: Minimum 24 months of active practice or training in Family Medicine within the last 36 months Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $151.00/hour Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team supporting your success What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions Conduct physical exams, health assessments, and preventive care visits Order and interpret diagnostic tests; coordinate specialty referrals Educate patients on health maintenance and self-care strategies Supervise and train other healthcare professionals Ensure compliance with government and clinical standards Support military personnel, retirees, and their families across multiple clinics What You Need Required: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school Graduation from an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency Active, unrestricted medical license At least 24 months of recent practice or training in Family Medicine Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) U.S. citizenship Preferred: Board certification (ABMS or AOA) Experience in military or federal healthcare Proficiency in EMR systems Additional certifications like ACLS or BLS About the Assignment This position offers an exciting opportunity to serve in military healthcare environments, providing primary care services at multiple locations including the United States Air Force Academy, Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever SFB, Buckley SFB, and Fort Carson.
