Swiss CNC Machinist

A leading precision manufacturer specializing in orthopedic implants, surgical instruments, and complex machined components. The company uses advanced equipment including 5 axis milling, Swiss turning, and high speed machining to support production of tight-tolerance medical and industrial components. The Swiss CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who enjoys working with complex geometries, tight tolerances, and advanced tooling. Medical device experience is a plus but not required.

Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other measurement tools.

Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, feeds, speeds, and material behavior.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

Experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines such as Citizen, Star, or Tsugami.

Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring tools.

Understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and material properties.

Medical device or aerospace experience is helpful but not required.
