Ultrasound Sonographer PRN

This is a PRN position.

Performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional patient data. Completes patient intakes via collection of medical history and answers patient questions regarding imaging procedures. Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.

Registered or eligible for registration as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered as a vascular technologist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI) OR Registered as a Sonographer (ARRT(S)) or a Vascular Sonographer (ARRT(VS)) by the American

Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Previous clinical experience to be able to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, equipment operation, and to gain knowledge of patient care techniques.
