Dietitian - URGENT

Job Description

Primary Purpose and FunctionResponsible for the general oversight of all meal and nutrition related aspects of programming and patient’s nutritional care and services.

Additionally responsible for providing nutrition assessment and counseling to patients.

Coordinate care with clinical and medical treatmentteamto assist in treatment plans for patients.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstratedcompetencyin the use of Microsoft Office and theability to use various software programsExperience and literacy with Electronic Medical Records systems and medical practice softwareMust be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check (Federal and state)Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays as neededPerform other duties as assignedGraduate of an accredited Dietetics programCurrent RD license in good standing with WA State CertificationMust possess current and active WA State Food Handler’s Permit, or obtain one within the firsttwo (2)weeks of hire

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with eating disorders, trauma, chemical dependency, mood disorders, and/or anxiety disordered patientsExperience with Kipu, AVEA, and/or Waystar

WorkingEnvironment

Work is performed primarily indoors, with bothartificialandnaturallighting. Equipmentincludes standard office equipment, i.e. computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, and scanner. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, repetitive use of hands, and lifting up to 25lbs. Position requires close contact with all THIRA Health staff and mental health patients. Hours and days can vary within a Saturday through Friday week.
