Louis-based litigation firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing team. The firm is recognized as one of the largest litigation-focused practices in the region and represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, from conventional defense cases to complex, high-stakes product liability and commercial disputes.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a seasoned attorney who has a strong background in insurance defense. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to ensure that our company operates within the law. They will also be involved in complex legal matters and projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong emphasis on insurance defense.

Provide legal advice and support on a range of legal issues such as corporate law, litigation, contracts, insurance, privacy, intellectual property, and employment.
Conduct legal research and analysis of complex legal issues and implications on matters of significant impact to the business.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights.
Provide legal advice to management on various legal issues related to the business.
Represent the company in legal proceedings, draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery notices.
Develop and deliver training on legal matters to ensure compliance across the organization.

A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department handling insurance defense matters.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-reasoned legal judgments.
Strong knowledge of corporate law and insurance law.
Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
