As a strategic recruitment partner to ESCO Maritime, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join the team based in Rugeley. This is an ideal role for professionals experienced in manufacturing and passionate about high-integrity, power-dense electronics.

You will be working within a small, agile team on complex and dynamic projects that push the boundaries of electronic design.

Responsibilities

Designing and analysing electronic circuits

Capturing schematics and providing PCB layout guidance

Selecting and reviewing electronic components

Supporting engineering projects through varied tasks

Engaging in technical meetings and customer interfaces

Documenting work in line with internal procedures

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and analogue/digital design

Experience in schematic capture, circuit simulation, and wiring definitions

Familiarity with PCB layout oversight

Knowledge of EMC and environmental qualification processes

Experience using Altium Designer
