Cardenas Markets is seeking a retail store Meat Clerk to join our team. The Meat Clerk is responsible for washing, inspecting, and rotating all meat products, along with ensuring displays are stocked with new merchandise and ensuring expirations are up to date. The Meat Clerk must possess strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Work professionally as part of the team and provide excellent customer service;

Verify prices, hang current sales signs, and removes out-of-date sales signs;

Order and inventory required meats, seafood, and poultry;

Sell products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions;

Comply with sanitation and health guidelines.

Valid Food Handlers Card;

• Prior food preparer experience at a grocery store preferred;
• Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:

The pay scale above is a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position.
