As a PEMCO Agency Insurance Agent, you'll connect with members who already trust the PEMCO brand, guide them through important decisions, and deliver Property & Casualty solutions that protect what they've worked hard to build. Use Agency management systems to accurately and efficiently document customer correspondence and record policy-related information and customer/prospect data.
Sell new Property and Casualty policies from within PEMCO's office via inbound and outbound channels including telephone calls, email and internet leads to meet sales goals.
Provide customer service to existing customers, while strategically taking opportunities to cross-sell at appropriate times.
Accurately explain policy coverages, endorsements and/or limitations and provide consultative advice and solutions to meet the customer needs.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with PEMCO's policies, values, code of ethics and business conduct.

S. degree or equivalent work experience (Business degree or similar)

• Property & Casualty or financial industry experience, or previous experience with Applied / EPIC agency management system
• Business Environment: Has a thorough understanding of our industry, the relevant business landscape, trends in growth and insurance environments; Skilled proficiency with contact management software applications is required
• MS Office: Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is required

Greater Seattle area target pay range: $Outside Greater Seattle area target pay range: $Regular part-time PEMCO employees working at least 24 hours per week and regular full-time PEMCO employees are eligible to elect coverage under medical, dental, and vision plans for themselves and their eligible family members with generous employer premium cost shares. covered by employer-paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance policies as well as long- and short-term disability benefit coverages.

Granted four (4) floating holidays immediately upon hire.

Granted up to ten (10) days of sick leave immediately upon hire (pro-rated based on hire date and full-time/part-time status), which is approximately 28 hours more per year than the Washington state-required accrual.
