Performs and documents Quality Control. Performs instrument and equipment maintenance according to policy and procedures. Maintains adequate stock of reagents and supplies. Participates in continuing education.Minimum Qualifications: Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associate Degree/ Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science Biology, Chemistry, or Physics/Certification by approved certifying agency, i.e., ASCP, NCA, AMT Work Experience: Recent Graduate must be certified by ASCP or equivalent Board within one year of graduation. Equipment Operated: PC, printers, scanners. Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Writing /Composing (Correspondence/Reports) Other Skills: Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms, Research, Statistical, P.MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access Advanced Education: Bachelor's Degree Major: Associate Degree/ Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science Biology, Chemistry, or Physics Work Schedule: Flexible Other Requirements: Travel between Harris Health System facilities
