Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Nightshift Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery!
Job Description:

• Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (3 x 12s)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Location Requirement: Must live at least 50 miles away
• Start Date: All candidates must be available to start within 7 days of offer-no pushed starts allowed!

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for female patients of childbearing age
• Provide support for pregnant patients at 17 weeks gestation
• Manage laboring patients and scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage)
• Experience in Triage issues
• Conduct admissions, discharges, transfers, and deliveries (both vaginal and C/S)

Qualifications:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in your state/district
• 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Cerner Experience Required

- Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN - Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Equipment Familiarity:

• Fetal Monitors
• Cerner and Fetalink documentation systems

Compliance Requirements:

• National Background Screen (OIG, EPLS, NSO, etc.) within the last 90 days
• Flu & Covid Vaccination or Declination Form
• All additional requirements must be submitted no later than 7 days from assignment start date
• Contract will be cancelled if remaining documents are not received by the deadline
