Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Addiction Services to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Provide clinical care for patients in the outpatient addiction clinic and opioid treatment program.

Diagnose substance use disorders and non-substance related addiction disorders and recommend treatment that considers levels of care criteria.

Assist medical leadership with Quality Assurance and Process Improvement projects as needed.

Teach and train fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on addiction services, as well as preparing didactic presentations as needed.

Order and manage medications for addiction treatment, including for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder.

Monitor the progress of individuals in treatment and review the appropriateness of continued treatment and level of care.

Assist with orientation of new physicians and staff in addiction services.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Psychiatry.

Active New York State Medical License.

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
