Pharmacist Staff/ Pharmacy

Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Oversee specialized pharmacy operations with a focus on oral dispensing in a structured specialty pharmacy setting. This contract role, spanning 13 weeks or longer, offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent workweek within a dynamic pharmacy environment.
Verify medication orders and process prescriptions with clinical precision
Generate and review pharmacy reports for operational efficiency
Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and quality
Assist in managing daily pharmacy operations to meet compliance and service standards
Conduct benefits investigation, prior authorization coordination, and facilitate financial assistance to enhance medication access
Maintain quality assurance, inventory management, and compliance with pharmacy laws and accreditation standards
Proven experience in mid/oral dispensing specialty pharmacy settings
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication dispensing protocols
Ability to work independently while effectively supervising pharmacy support staff
