As a Server , you’ll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents and guests. Your attention to service, hospitality, and care helps ensure mealtimes are enjoyable, engaging, and reflective of the high standards of our community.

As a Server , you are responsible for supporting daily dining operations by providing friendly, timely, and attentive meal service while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment.

Status: PART TIME

SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS

Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.

Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience.

Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections.

Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas.

Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Support orientation and training of new servers as needed.

Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred.

Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.

Ability to interact professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and team members.

Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals and food service equipment.

Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays.

Comfort interacting closely with residents during meals.

Regulatory Compliance & Background Screening
Discovery Senior Living complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory requirements governing hiring practices, background screening, and workforce eligibility. Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of state-mandated and/or federally required background screenings, which may include criminal history checks, fingerprint-based screening, Level 2 background screening, registry verification, and other screenings required for healthcare and senior living roles with direct or indirect resident access.

Certain positions may be subject to additional requirements under federal programs, including CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations, as well as state-specific licensing or regulatory agencies. These measures support regulatory compliance and help maintain a safe, secure environment for residents, families, and team members.

Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements. Applicants will be required to complete fingerprinting and background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse.
