This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced engineering team working on next‑generation satellite and telescope technologies. You’ll play a key role in designing precision mechanical systems that operate in some of the most demanding environments imaginable.

Design and develop precision mechanical structures and assemblies using Siemens NX

Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings

Design interfaces between optical, electrical, and thermal subsystems

Perform structural and thermal analysis (FEA and hand calculations)

Support manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing

Collaborate with suppliers on fabrication, tolerances, and quality requirements

What we’re looking for: 3+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering with hands‑on product development

Excellent understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards

Experience designing precision or high‑tolerance mechanical systems

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative engineering environment

Opto‑mechanical or optical system design

Manufacturing, integration, or assembly experience
