Salt Lake Behavioral Health is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN Basis to join our team. Shifts: Night Shift (6pm-6am) and Day Shift (6am-6pm).

Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private 118 bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults. We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence-based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to psychiatric patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team. This role coordinates patient care, administers medications, supports treatment planning, and maintains a safe therapeutic environment. The RN serves as the clinical leader on assigned shifts, ensuring continuity of care, patient safety, and adherence to standards of nursing practice.

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Utah State Board of Nursing Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of training in Handle With Care within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
