CNC Machinist

What you will do as a CNC Machinist is to setup and operate Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) lathes and/or mills. Primarily responsible for setting up and operating equipment with some program editing and offsetting on a variety of parts. Shift: 3:15pm-1:45am Monday-Thursday

What You Will Do As A CNC Machinist

Read blueprints and routers to meet production and quality requirements.

Set up and operate swiss type CNC lathe or CNC milling center for a variety of jobs based on specific job requirements. Performing limited editing and offsetting of programs.

Utilize standard measuring devices such as caliper and micrometer to meet quality requirements while maintaining productivity levels during the manufacturing process.

Operators within and adheres to general plant rules and policies governing workplace.

CNC machining experience of 3-5 years or technical degree.

Performance of operations which require finite motor skills.

Visual acuity adequate to detect subtle visual product non-conformities.

This position is eligible for bonus participation. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
