org Advanced Heart Failure Transplant CardiologistBaylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained, board certified/board eligible, Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiologist for our Advanced Heart Failure Transplant team for the Temple Region. Our team currently supports approximately 50 heart replacements annually and has a focus on quality and longitudinal well-being for our patients. The advanced heart failure team supports the Central Texas Region and is part of a team including robust structural, surgical, imaging and critical care team members.Additional responsibilities may include ACGME education of Cardiology Fellows and Internal Medicine Residents and rotating service on the inpatient cardiac transplant service at BSWH Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Faculty appointment through Baylor College of Medicine at rank commensurate with academic experience is expected, and involvement with the education of medical students is variable dependent on interest. Qualifications Must be UNOS qualified for the care of patients with cardiac transplants. Expected call 6 - 8 weeks a year in Temple location Dedicated HF nurses and APP once a week with plans for expansion.
