Full Time - Bartender and Server

Job Summary

Located in Pinehurst, Drum & Quill is a historic pub and the hottest gastropub in the area. We are looking for a Bartender Apprentice who will be promoted to full‑time after a week if they demonstrate excellent bartending and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Take and serve orders from bar customers.

Prepare alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, including classic and innovative cocktails.

Make beverage recommendations based on customers’ preferences.

Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and ensure it is fully stocked.

Check customers’ IDs to verify legal drinking age.

Provide an exceptional guest experience as a bartender and waiter/waitress.

Requirements

Experience as a bartender.

Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages.

Certification in bartending is a plus.

Basic computer and math skills.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Professional and cheerful disposition.

Ability to keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized.

Flexibility and willingness to work shifts.
