Job Description
Surgical Center Preoperative Registered Nurse
Schedule
This is a weekday-only position with four 10-hour shifts from 12 PM to 10 PM. No weekends or holidays required.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Center team in the Preoperative area. The ideal candidate will possess IV skills, surgical care knowledge, and experience with robotics.
Responsibilities
Provide preoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including IV insertion and patient education.
Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Manage a caseload of 55-70 patients per day.
Participate in charge nurse or house supervisor roles as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Valid RN license.
BLS certification.
IV skills and knowledge of surgical care protocols.
Experience with surgical robotics preferred.
