Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled RN with expertise in Cardiology for an exciting travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves providing both routine and complex care in a dynamic cardiology environment, with a focus on cardiac surgeries such as CABGs and valve operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate autonomy and proficiency in managing clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardiology - Travel
Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation)
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments, monitoring side-effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
Requirements of the RN - Cardiology - Travel
BLS required via AHA
ACLS required via AHA
RN License in state of employment or compact
Experience in cardiac surgeries, including CABGs and valves
