Head of Operations Management (m/w/d)

Threads Worldwide creates connection and life-changing work with women around the world through the fair trade of artisan jewelry.

We sell gorgeous handcrafted jewelry made by women in 8 countries from India to Uganda. We know that by giving women a way to earn a fair income, they will reinvest into their families and communities.

We sell through a community of passionate women who connect their communities to the women around the world and earn a living doing so.

You will be a core member of our small team coordinating and overseeing our operations and growth.

Your role is to improve current processes to make us more efficient in serving our sales field, artisan partners, and customers. We trust that you will elevate who we are as a company and as a brand.

Run the backend of our software. HTML is a bonus!

Take care of our customers and sales field by responding to email and phone requests. This is an important aspect of the role so being 'customer-service-minded' is critical.

Track and purchase office and shipping materials. Ideally this expands into overseeing our supply chain and inventory management with partners in 8 countries.

Formulate strategic and operational plans to launch seasonal collections. Initially, you will ship 2-3x/week for a portion of the day. Eventually, you will hire temporary shippers during holidays and as we grow.

Be responsible for the office environment. (You're the lead on taking out trash and recycling, but we'll all help!)

Please expect random projects to pop up daily (ie today we're working out how to ship from Vietnam to Japan via a UPS account that we can't find the login for :))
