LEAD, PATIENT TRANSPORTER (FULL-TIME & PART-TIME)

Patient Transporter Lead
We are hiring immediately for full time PATIENT TRANSPORTER LEAD positions. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedule; Requirement: Prior patient transporter experience preferred. High school diploma required. Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $16.25 per hour.

Summary: Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations. Directs daily work of other patient transporters and reports inadequate performance to Supervisor.
Follows up on complaints and reports them to the Supervisor.
brings the proper requested equipment.
Communicates effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, or reception and dispatch.
Immediately alerts nursing staff to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction.
Maintains equipment and reports equipment needing repairs.
Adheres to facility confidentiality and patients' rights policy as outlined in the facility's HIPPA policies and procedures.
