Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Location: Lincoln, NE

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (1‑hour lunch)

What You’ll Do

Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients

Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established practices and procedures

Verify patient demographic information and specimen labeling, obtaining patient confirmation post‑collection

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidentiality of patient information

Maintain a safe, professional, and patient‑focused environment

What We’re Looking For

A current, up‑to‑date resume

High school diploma or equivalent

Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision

Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable

Ability to meet compliance requirements
