Employees are hired with an expectation to help carry out basic patient care in the medical office clinical environment. Follows all HIPAA, OSHA, State, Local, and Federal guidelines as required by law. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and utilizes time management practices. Responsible for routine functions including maintenance of patient flow, exam room preparation and turnover, medication reconcile, allergies, vital signs, medical history, documentation of patient encounter, patient education, appointment scheduling, assisting providers as needed. Ability to utilize computer system: Documents patient information with accuracy and in a timely manner. Prioritizes calls via Triage principles Urgent vs. Non-Urgent and processes them accordingly. Responsible for Re-Stocking Equipment/Supplies and checking Expiration dates to include Medications.EducationSuccessful completion of a state-approved Certified/Registered training program.ExperienceMinimum of one year medical office clinical experience.
