Mathematics Teacher | 2026–2027 Academic Year

Our Lady of Mercy Academy , an all-girls, faith-based college preparatory high school, seeks a dynamic and

student-centered Mathematics Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The successful candidate will teach a range of mathematics courses, including Algebra I, Algebra II, Physics, and other

mathematics courses as needed, while fostering a classroom environment that challenges students academically and

Responsibilities Teach a variety of mathematics courses across multiple grade levels, including advanced placement coursework.

Design engaging lessons that emphasize conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-world application of

mathematics.

Integrate technology tools and project-based learning experiences to enhance engagement and deepen

assistance.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, counselors, and support staff to promote student growth.

Participate fully in the life of the school community through extracurricular involvement, school events, retreats,

and general faculty responsibilities.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field required; Appropriate New Jersey teaching certification or eligibility required.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a professional learning community.

Commitment to building meaningful relationships with students and contributing positively to school culture.
