Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. The facility may cancel one shift.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and management of complex medical conditions. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and care plans for patients in the PCU.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Detect and report changes in patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement effective care strategies.
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
Maintain electronic health records and ensure accurate documentation.
Required Experience
A minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is highly preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
Active RN license with no disciplinary actions.
Current ACLS certification from an approved vendor.
Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
Driver's license to verify residency.
