Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY, as an Independent Contractor. This part-time/per diem position offers a premium hourly rate for specialized expertise in interventional procedures and diagnostic imaging.
Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including catheterizations and image-guided interventions.
Utilize medical imaging techniques such as CT, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology to guide procedures.
Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate interventional approaches.
Ensure accurate documentation and familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in interventional radiology techniques.
Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Active New York State Medical License (Required).
Experience: Significant experience in interventional radiography, including catheterization procedures within sterile environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional techniques. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, excellent communication with referring physicians and staff, and commitment to aseptic technique and patient safety
Competitive Compensation: $350 - $400 per hour
Work Schedule: Part-time/Per diem with flexible scheduling.
