Phlebotomist - Clinic

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a medical clinic in Decatur, Texas, performing blood collections and specimen processing. The role requires venipuncture skills, patient interaction, and administrative duties, with a schedule of Wednesday-Friday 11am-8pm and Saturday 8am-8pm.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests

Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately

Prepare collected specimens for testing and handle billing collection

Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from accredited agency
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
