Pharmacist (Part-Time) - Pharmacy

VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care has an opening for a Part Time Pharmacist at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl, MS! 8:00a-4:30p, two days a week. At VitalCore we pride ourselves on retaining and acquiring compassionate, dedicated individuals who are committed to providing quality services. pharmaceutical services within the institution.
Maintain all pharmacy records as required by Federal/State law and department policy.
Dispense all pharmaceuticals.
Provide consultation to staff regarding pharmaceuticals.
Check expiration date of pharmaceuticals and return/dispose of outdated pharmaceuticals and non-returnable goods.
Responsible for purchasing and inventory levels of all pharmaceuticals including over-the-counter medications.
Orient, instruct, and supervise all pharmacy personnel.
Perform quarterly inspection of aspects of pharmaceutical services and assist in problem-solving activities.
Attend training and meetings as required.
Part-Time
65-70 Hourly Wage
