As a Clinical Lab Assistant, you will handle any/all Laboratory-related duties specific to the pre-analytical phase of specimen processing/testing, which includes, but not limited to, managing workflow at the specimen accessioning table (Processing), dispatching of Phlebotomists throughout the facility as needed, and blood collections.
You willassistthe Laboratory's Medical Technologists/Technicians with preparing specimens for analysis/testing, up to actual test performance, aspermittedby the TN Medical Laboratory Board.

• Utilizes computer system (LIS) for data entry and monitoring of workflow.
• Distributes specimens to all testing departments of the Laboratory
• Follow safety and infection control processes and procedures.
• Answer phone with extreme professionalism and impressive phone etiquette
