A healthcare organization in Rutland is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative,join a collaborative and patient-focused surgical team. Position Overview

The Anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures and work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and medical procedures

Evaluate patients prior to procedures and develop appropriate anesthesia care plans

Monitor patients during procedures and adjust anesthesia levels as needed

Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management

Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and quality care

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities

Requirements

General Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesiology

Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license

Strong clinical and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

Prior clinical experience in hospital-based anesthesiology practice

Interest in collaborative patient care and quality improvement initiatives

Ability to adapt to a diverse range of surgical cases
