Mother friendly designated, a Texas 10-Step designated, and a Magnet designated facility
PRN Level II: On an as needed basis (7PM-7AM) - Minimum of 3 shifts per 6-week schedule, 1 Weekend shift per 6-week schedule, and 1 major & 1 minor holiday shift per year; During Training - prefer 2 shifts per week

Our team is like a family with a newly expanded Level III Neonatal ICU/NICU unit with 16-beds - utilizing CPAP, Bubble CPAP, vents, & oscillators and working with Feeders/Growers as well
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma required
One-year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) Required
One year of Neonatal ICU/NICU Level III RN experience strongly preferred.
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained 90 days
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Plans the care of the patient
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
