Infection Preventionist - Healthcare Epidemiology

This role works onsite, Monday- Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.

Prior experience in a Healthcare related field is preferred.

Requires Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or Associate-Infection Prevention and Control (a-IPC) certification within 2 years of hire. Knowledge of infectious disease, epidemiology, asepsis and immunology, medical procedures, or medical and environmental microbiology is preferred.

Conducts targeted infection surveillance activities including investigation and responses to outbreaks of infections among patients and/or personnel.

Assures compliance with recommendations from regulatory and accrediting agencies.
