Lot PorterEdwards Auto Group in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a Lot Porter to join our team. In this role, you will move and park vehicles, manage vehicle stock, catalog vehicle location, and the individual VIN. Maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance on all dealership lots and in showrooms. Collaborate closely with management to keep tasks completed on time.ResponsibilitiesKeeps vehicle lots neat and orderlyMoving cars when needed while keeping in the display standards for the dealershipClean the interior and exterior of the vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc.Picks up and drive vehicles to the customers as directed by managementStart vehicles, keep vehicles fueled, and report any problems or concerns to managementPick up parts from the parts departmentInstall required forms/stickers and license plates on vehiclesLight janitorial work in shop and or showroomRequirementsValid Driver's License (Required)No prior experience or training is neededWillingness to be flexible and take directionExcellent interpersonal communication skillsBeing a team player and contributing wherever needed is essentialAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosPunctual with strong attendance history
