The Program Facilitator helps program participants develop pro-social thinking and behaviors through the delivery of cognitive behavioral and evidence-based curricula. Facilitates group programming sessions in areas such as anger management, preventing violence, and critical thinking.
The Program Facilitator delivers gender-responsive and trauma-informed programming using curriculum-based group sessions.
The Program Facilitator conducts participant program orientations and intakes.
As appropriate, assists participants in planning for release to the community.
Assists in the coordination of participant program schedules to ensure that all programming needs are met.
Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field; Previous experience as a facilitator / educator / group moderator with the criminal justice population.
Flexible schedule as hours may vary each week, to include evening sessions.
