Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Registered Nurse - Emergency RoomThis position is variable and will include shifts from 1 PM to 1 AM, 4 PM to 4 AM, and/or 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must hold a valid RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Epic experience is a requirement. This role requires candidates to work every other weekend. Candidates will work with a patient ratio of 4:1 during the day and night shifts. The unit consists of 28 rooms and has 23 beds. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and social services among others. Candidates must have experience with key skills such as arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Additional skills required include management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and triage. Preferred experience includes having previously worked in an emergency department setting.
