Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Engineer performs a lead role in taking designs from concept to delivery for space and defense products and systems. This position consults with the Principal Electrical Engineer and company leadership to identify electrical engineering resource needs. The primary focus of this position is technical leadership, with an emphasis on supporting new business development efforts and mentorship of junior engineers, with minimal direct oversight required.

• Performs lead role in the electrical design, development, test, analysis, manufacturing, and execution of multi-disciplinary projects, often on multiple programs simultaneously

Creates and reviews complete drawing packages of electrical designs for manufacturing, cost, and quality assurance

Leads prototyping, hardware assembly, development testing and product qualification

Performs required calculations and generates comprehensive circuit analysis reports

Takes a leading role in the management of departmental growth and other electrical tools

Mentor and resource for more junior engineers and helps conduct performance reviews

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

Typically possesses significant experience in aerospace, defense, and/or avionics

Proven experience in designing robust hardware that has undergone qualification testing

Advanced experience with testing/troubleshooting techniques

Proficient experience developing automated test equipment apparatuses

and developing serial communication Hardware / Software

Familiarity with C/C++/C#, Python, Matlab (Verilog and VHDL are a plus)

Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction, quality-oriented and safety conscious

Possesses strong electrical aptitude as well as creativity in solving problems; Citizen

S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.Travel Requirements
